Who are Hugh’s House?

Hugh's HouseGreat question!  Hugh’s House was founded by Marty & Ade Curley Stack whose son sadly passed away only 247 days old – having lived all of his life in hospital.  Hugh’s parents seeing the struggle for parents of sick children who lived outside of Dublin, decided to set up a charity to support them.

They now provide family accommodation 365 days a year for parents who have ill children in Temple Street and the Rotunda hospitals.  Alongside this essential accommodation, they also provide nourishing home cooked food to the families & a safe, fun place for children to play; and for families to visit outside of a ward environment.

All costs associated with the accommodation are met by the charity.  There is no time limit applied, families can simply stay until their sick child leaves the hospital.
Hugh’s House have received been awarded full charity status: (RCN): 20105945.
