Our annual Career Transition Workshop takes place on August 22nd in the Kingswood Hotel. It will be a full day event, with the afternoon session given over to one-to-one sessions with career coaches and sector specialists to answer specific queries on writing your CV, interview presentation & preparation along with how to best present yourself and your experience to date.

Speakers:
Orla Sherlock, Director / Executive Coach / L&D Consultant with SKH Training & Development Ltd
Orla is an Executive Coach and senior Learning & Development specialist with over 28 years’ experience within the private and public sector. She is a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin and the National College of Ireland and is a member of CIPD, IITD and the European Mentoring & Coaching Council.
Her educational background is in HR, Business & Pharmacy. She holds a Diploma in Business and Executive Coaching, accredited by EMCC and is also certified as an EQ-i 2.0 and EQ360 qualified practitioner.
Her areas of speciality are in Leadership & Management Development, Executive Coaching, Emotional Intelligence and Performance Management working with various companies, including, Kerry Group, Sky (UK & Ireland), Linesight, AIB, Pfizer, AbbVie, Ibec, Servier, Astra Zeneca, HRM, Fineos, Mylan, Dept of Health, An Garda Síochána & Coillte.
Hazel Whelan, Associate Director – Recruitment Plus
Hazel is a Recruitment Specialist with over 19 years’ experience working with clients and candidates across the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Life Science industries at predominantly senior and executive level. She has substantial insight into recruitment and talent acquisition trends and developments. She has a passion for people and a keen appreciation of the importance and value of meaningful work.
With a background in Science and HR, she is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, TU Kevin Street and a fellow of the National Recruitment Federation.
Hazel has extensive experience recruiting for technical and commercial roles in both the public and private sectors, from small SMEs to blue chip multinationals.
Frank C Guy, Leadership & Performance Coach
Frank is Leadership and Performance Coach with over 34 years experience in multinational companies. He has over 12 years’ experience designing and facilitating training interventions in both public and private sectors.
He’s an accredited international Coach for GlaxoSmithKline, and holds a Diploma in Business & Executive Coaching, a Business degree from Trinity, a Diploma in Direct Marketing along with a passion for life-long personal development.
