Our Leaders Forum lunch event returns this year on on May 10th with guest speaker Mary Harney. This networking lunch will provide senior leaders with an opportunity to hear directly from a highly respected industry leader; and to network with industry colleagues.
Guest Speaker:
Mary Harney, Consultant and Director will be joined by Gwynne Morley, General Manager with IQVIA Ireland. Both speakers will share their expertise and knowledge regarding the evolution of healthcare in Ireland and how locally based pharma companies can future proof their businesses based on local / international trends.

Mary Harney, Consultant and Director
Mary Harney is a former Irish politician who was Tánaiste for 10 years and for 17 years served as Minister in various Departments – as Minister for Environmental Protection, for Enterprise, Trade, Employment, Science and Technology and for Health. She was the longest serving woman both as a member of the Dail and as a cabinet minister. Mary was also the first woman to lead a political party in Ireland.
Having retired from politics in 2011 she now engages in business consultancy and is a director in healthcare and in technology companies. She acts as policy advisor to several organisations mainly in healthcare and is the independent chair of the public interest committee of KPMG Ireland. Mary is Chancellor of the University of Limerick.
Gwynne Morley, General Manager – IQVIA
Gwynne is former Director of Heart & Vascular, Diabetes & Emergency Department at the Mater Private Hospital and former Managing Director at Uniphar Retail Services division. She has extensive experience and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, from the manufacturer to the patient. Previously she worked for United Drug Group (UDG) Healthcare for 13 years where she was a member of the Senior Executive team. During her tenure with UDG, she held a number of senior roles namely in pre-wholesale, consumer, homecare and quality. Prior to joining UDG, she held management positions within the Crowley Retail Pharmacy Chain and held a multifunctional role within the medical department of Zeneca Pharma, Ireland. Gwynne is a pharmacy graduate of Trinity College, Dublin.
