Covid-19 has undoubtedly permanently transformed the landscape of our industry. As we continue to work remotely the previous engagement channels have radically transformed. Some questions are now coming very much to the fore:
- How do we now engage with HCPs?
- What is best practice around virtual product launches, and
- Are there innovative ways of elevating your product or service above all the online noise?
- How do you influence and deliver impactful presentations remotely?
These are just some of the questions we’ll be addressing at our masterclass on Wed 9th December.
As with all events this year, the masterclass will be held online and will run from 9am – 12pm. As usual, there will be lots of interaction, practical examples and lots of scope for Q&A.
Gwynne Morley, General Manager – IQVIA
Gwynne is the General Manager of IQVIA Solutions and CSMS division of IQVIA. She is former Director of Heart & Vascular, Diabetes & Emergency Department at the Mater Private Hospital and former Managing Director at Uniphar Retail Services division. She has extensive experience and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, from the manufacturer to the patient.
Previously she worked for United Drug Group (UDG) Healthcare for 13 years where she was a member of the Senior Executive team. During her tenure with UDG, she held a number of senior roles namely in pre-wholesale, consumer, homecare and quality. Prior to joining UDG, she held management positions within the Crowley Retail Pharmacy Chain and held a multifunctional role within the medical department of Zeneca Pharma, Ireland. Gwynne is a pharmacy graduate of Trinity College, Dublin.
Eoghan McDermott, Managing Director – The Communications Clinic
Eoghan was part of the consortium which launched The Communications Clinic in 2008, becoming Head of Training in 2012 and was appointed Managing Director in 2018. Since June 2020, he has also been an Adjunct Teaching Fellow with Trinity College Dublin’s Business School where he has developed an Impactful Communication programme for senior leaders.
Eoghan continues to be a regular contributor to Today FM’s The Last Word, Virgin Media’s Ireland AM, as well as shows on Newstalk and RTE. He published his first book “The Career Doctor” in 2009.
Sheelagh McDonnell, Director & Partner, Global Client Lead – FleishmanHillard
Sheelagh commenced her career as a retail pharmacist in her home country of South Africa.
She has held Senior and Global Brand Manager roles with AstraZeneca, Abbvie, Wyeth (Pfizer) and Abbott before joining FleishmanHillard in 2016 as their Director of Healthcare.
In early 2019 she was appointed to the role of Director & Partner, Global Client Lead and works across both the Dublin and London offices with a eye to the global market, while she continues to live in Ireland.
Matt Park, Director & Partner, Head of Social & Innovation – FleishmanHillard
Matt heads up the Social and Innovation side of FleishmanHillard and has extensive experience managing digital and social media campaigns for multiple clients. Before joining FleishmanHillard Matt held the role of Chief Digital Officer with UK consultancy firm Red Consultancy.
Matt holds a degree in English from Sussex University.
