Recognising the need for local expertise in reimbursement submissions, Brenda Dooley founded AXIS Consulting in early 2012 . As an experienced market access strategist with 20+ years of international biopharma industry experience, Brenda and her team have developed over 100 bespoke and high-quality reimbursement submissions for the Irish authorities. As Chief Executive at AXIS, Brenda has led the company to its position as the dominant provider for submissions to the Irish authorities and is now leading the expansion of the company into the UK providing HTA submissions to NICE and also the SMC.

Orlaith Brennan, Market Development Director – IQVIA 

Orlaith is the Market Development Director with IQVIA, a role she’s held since 2021. 
Previous to this Orlaith was the  Director of Commercial Affairs at IPHA for over 10 years. She holds an MBA from UCD and a degree in Pharmacy from Trinity.

Andrew Browne, Director, Business Consulting – Life Sciences – EY Ireland

Andrew is a Director in EY specialising in Business Consulting in Life Sciences. In his current role Andrew works with both global and indigenous pharmaceutical and biotech companies on their commercial, market access and launch strategies.  He has twenty years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry working for AbbVie, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Organon. 
His latest role prior to joining EY was the Immunology Business Unit Director with AbbVie where he oversaw a significant transformation of the unit with the introduction of two new medicines. He has significant launch experience and has been involved in over twenty product and new indication launches throughout his career. While with Bristol-Myers Squibb Andrew worked as an Associate Director, a European marketing role in their Paris office.                                             


Mark Taylor, Partner – Life Sciences – EY Ireland

Mark has over 20 years of transformation experience, leading large-scale engagements spanning strategy, operating model redesign & people capability​​ and has led engagements with global pharma companies to define and deliver their omnichannel strategy

Sreeja Varghese PhD, Consultant – E-Vate Group 

Sreeja is an accomplished professional in the field of biomedicine with expertise in drug discovery and clinical development. She holds a PhD in immunology from Trinity College Dublin and spent nearly a decade in academia and industry focusing on small molecule research and engineered antibody therapeutics. Her work has contributed to the advancement of treatment options for various autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. Transitioning into medical affairs, Sreeja took on the role of leading global trials in hemato-oncology, collaborating with cross-functional teams to expand her impact on enhancing patient outcomes. Sreeja’s current role as a Scientific Consultant at E-vate, allows her to leverage her expertise and provide strategic guidance to companies within the life sciences and biomedical industry.

In addition to her professional achievements, Sreeja is an avid supporter of achieving gender equity and empowering women’s leadership. As the Dublin Chapter President of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), she advocates for gender parity, mentoring and leadership development. Sreeja is passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists and healthcare professionals, and she actively engages in initiatives that promote curiosity, innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity.

David O’Brien, Supply Chain Lead, Ireland – Uniphar 

David has responsibility for the Uniphar Supply Chain Ireland business which incorporates the go to market strategy for both the Allphar pre-wholesale and Uniphar full line wholesale business. David joined Uniphar as Wholesale Commercial Director in 2016 and prior to taking up his current role led the Uniphar Wholesale market share growth and MAH commercial engagement over the last number of years. Prior to joining the Uniphar Group, David held a number of senior FMCG commercial roles for over 15 years with both the Kerry Group and Coca-Cola Hellenic.

Dr Maura Kinahan PhD, Category Medical Lead – Pfizer & Founding Member – PIER 

Maura is the Hospital/Internal Medicine Category Medical Lead in Pfizer. She has spent most of her career to-date in various roles in the pharmaceutical industry (Pharmaceutical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Medical Affairs) with Élan, Bristol-Myers Squibb & Pfizer. She is a founding member of PIER (Pharmacists in Industry, Education and Regulatory).  She holds a pharmacy degree from the University of Strathclyde (Glasgow), Ph.D. from the University of Manchester and is a fellow of BioInnovate Ireland.
Maura is a founding member of PIER (Pharmacists in Industry, Education & Regulatory).
