This 2 day masterclass will be given by IMI faculty members in the IMI centre, Sandyford. This is by far the most popular of the IMI’s short courses, and we are delighted to offer it to our members at a significant discount.
The course will take place over 2 consecutive days – April 30th and May 1st, and is suitable for all individuals who, irrespective of their level, deal with financial information and are responsible for budgets. Credit control staff will also learn how to avoid bad debts.
After completing this two day masterclass, attendees will have a solid working understanding of both the reading & interpreting of financial statements and how to prepare them. They will be familiar with the various financial terms, and how to apply them, and will have an understanding of creating, managing, interpreting and delivering budgets as well as business cases.
This course will be very hands-on in nature, and there will be plenty of scope for attendees to interpret data and understand how to question financial information.

About the Facilitator:
Moria Creedon, Director IMI Diploma in Business Finance
Moira is a consultant and lecturer in Financial Management working with corporate and public sector clients worldwide to help decision makers understand finance and thus improve their ability to build and implement strategy.
Prior to joining IMI as Finance Specialist Moira was a Director of International development Ireland, directing Foreign Direct Investment, Private sector development and major research projects for the World Bank and European Union in Southern African, Central American and former Soviet Union countries.
She has significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry having worked with Covidien Healthcare, Sanofi-Aventis, Wyeth, Pfizer, Bayer and Private Hospital Groups.
