The global pandemic has brought undeniable changes in how and where we work.  At the same time, keeping employees connected to their organisation’s culture has become a  concern for many business leaders and managers amid the new era of remote and hybrid working.  In this new work environment, being “overworked and underappreciated” is becoming a more common experience. Unfortunately, it is also a recipe for burnout, increasing the risk of disengagement – and ultimately employees resigning.

Employees need to feel connected not only to their organisation’s culture, but also to their colleagues.  Building and developing meaningful relationships in the workplace is all the more important in this new remotely working world!  These meaningful relationships matter: where there is an atmosphere of mutual respect, support and encouragement teamwork thrives; resulting in an overall better work environment for everyone.  This in turn helps to create strong and productive partnerships and a corporate environment where everyone truly feels like they are recognised both for their work and their overall contributions to the organisation.

So where can leaders and managers start in their journey to understand how to transform their workplace to one that is engaged and connected?  How do you inspire your employees to become “brand ambassadors” for your company?

Join us for a breakfast briefing with one of the world’s experts on employee engagement & recognition on September 29th in “The Address”, Citywest (formerly the Kingswood Hotel) where we will discuss this and more!
